FAMILY BLISS · Free Spirits & Loving Roots

Nurturing free spirits. Strengthening families.

Holistic support for women, mothers and parents of strong-willed, sensitive and unique children.

You love your child with all your heart. And there are days when their big feelings, their independent will and the many demands of family life ask for all the strength you have.

Between breakfast and the school run, work and the evening routine, your own longing lives too: for a more peaceful way of being together, for guidance and for space for the woman you are alongside being a mother.

There is room here for everything that moves you right now – without judgement and at your own pace.

In FAMILY BLISS, I bring together more than 25 years of educational experience, my own journey as a mother and my holistic work with women. Together, we explore what strengthens you, what your child needs and how you can shape everyday life with more connection, clarity and ease.

Big personalities need loving roots

Some children meet life with a particular intensity. They feel deeply, question many things, have a strong will of their own and express their needs with remarkable force. Their aliveness can delight us — and bring us to our limits on an otherwise ordinary Tuesday morning.

Supporting these children calls for sensitivity and a clear, dependable presence. They need adults who honour their individuality, offer guidance and can take responsibility even when emotions run high.

Together, we look more closely: What happens between you? Which situations keep returning? What does your child need to feel safe and understood? And what do you need to lead with an open heart and both feet on the ground?

From there, we develop steps that fit your family and have a place in real everyday life — between lunch boxes, big feelings and the occasionally very strong opinions about which sock is acceptable today.

You deserve support, too

You are a mother and also a woman, a working professional, a friend, a partner, a person with wishes of your own and a spiritual being with a rich inner world.

All these parts of you belong in your life. They long for attention, nourishment and a space in which to breathe.

Our work therefore makes room for your experience, too: your exhaustion, your joy, your wish to grow and the question of how to use your energy well in everyday life. We explore what sustains you and the support you are allowed to build around yourself.

A nurturing family life grows where you can feel yourself again, take your needs seriously and have people beside you whom you can rely on.

“Afterwards, I feel clear, calm and confident again.”

“A friend recommended Kaja to me when the stress with my now ex-husband had left me at my wits’ end. Over the following months, her clear, calm manner – together with her expertise and experience – carried me through the entire separation: divorce, moving out, my children changing schools and the beginning of a new relationship.

Kaja worked through all of this with me and, again and again, turned it into clear, practical impulses. Without her, I would certainly not be where I am today. I look forward to every session with her, because I know: afterwards, I feel clear, calm and confident again – and truly grateful for everything I have already achieved.”

What you can bring to our work

When feelings become big

Anger, resistance, withdrawal or recurring disagreements can take up a great deal of space in family life. Together, we explore what comes before these moments, how you can steady yourself within them and what kind of support gives your child guidance.

When you are finding your own way of leading

You want to be loving and also stay true to your decisions. We develop an approach in which closeness and boundaries belong together, helping you increasingly trust your own perceptions and actions.

When everyday life asks a lot of you

Mornings, school, meals, screen time and bedtime bring daily opportunities for friction — and for new experiences together. We choose the situations that matter most to you and shape practical, manageable steps.

Different parenting perspectives, communication with school or childcare and building a supportive network can also be part of our work.

How I support you

We begin with your life as it is today. You share what is on your mind, where you wish for change and what already feels good for you and your child.

Together, we make patterns visible and find a focus you can begin with. From there, we develop practical possibilities: clear words for difficult moments, suitable agreements, dependable routines or a more conscious relationship with your own energy.

My support combines educational knowledge with a holistic perspective on you and your family. Body awareness, breath and small moments of pausing can help you reconnect with yourself. If you wish, your spiritual practice also has a place — as a personal source of strength and a connection to your inner direction.

We move at a pace that suits you and look together at what works in everyday life.

“So clear, and at the same time so warm and loving.”

“Kaja supports us with questions around our relationship and parenting. Like in many relationships, there are topics where we keep clashing. On the whole, we are very happy with our relationship – and yet Kaja has shown us where we can still grow, and grow closer as a couple. This does us good, and we can really feel it in our family life with the children.

We especially appreciate how quickly Kaja reaches real depth and brings about real change – with a clear structure and a gift for getting to the heart of things. She names what she sees without judging or condemning – like a pendulum that swings out and then lets calm return. So clear, and at the same time so warm and loving.”

What has shaped my path

I became a mother at 36 and again at 40 — to two unique boys, two little free spirits who have moved and enriched my life in their own wonderful ways.

As their father travelled extensively for work, much of the daily responsibility rested with me. With two young children and, at times, three or even four different jobs, my life became a dense weave of care, organisation, professional commitment and the longing to make room for my own needs, growth and passions.

As a woman living in a big city, I wanted to bring many things together: raising children, meaningful work, love, growth and keeping my deep spiritual connection alive. Life became my daily practice. It bent and stretched me, sometimes bringing me to the edge of my strength, while also helping me blossom in unexpected ways.

I often travelled alone with my sons and experienced how much trust, flexibility and inner clarity it takes to step into new experiences together. Equally precious was building a dependable network: people who shared the load, thought alongside me and nourished me as a woman, mother, friend and spiritual being. Being supported made so much possible.

Alongside my own family life, I spent more than 25 years teaching children and young people aged six to 21. As a class and subject teacher, I supported students on their educational journeys and assessed examinations across school qualifications. I also worked as an educational and psychological adviser, supporting parents and teachers with particularly challenging children and young people.

These experiences have given me a rich foundation: varied professional knowledge, a trained eye for relationships and development and a deep understanding of what moves families in everyday life.

I would love to share this with you as guidance, companionship and support along your own path. With warmth for your story, openness to your child’s personality and a clear perspective on what may help your family today.

“Not only a better connection to our child – but also to ourselves.”

“My husband and I found our way to Kaja through a few detours – and we are incredibly grateful that we took this path.

We were looking for support in how we deal with our child, and after just a few sessions we noticed real changes. In a very empathetic and understanding – but also very direct – way, Kaja showed us what we can change in everyday life and how we can better notice and understand our child’s feelings and needs.

We have learned to give our child even more security and support, and to be a reliable ‘handrail’ for them in emotionally challenging situations. What impressed us most was that the emotionally stressful moments and intense outbursts decreased noticeably right after our first conversation.

Through Kaja, we have found not only a better connection to our child, but also to ourselves. We are deeply grateful for this – grateful for all the heart and soul Kaja has put into us.

We recommend Kaja with full conviction and are so glad to have found her.”
