Yoga with Kaja
“There is something within you that is far greater and more precious: your spirit. Connecting with it regularly can open a way towards an authentic life.” — Yogi Bhajan, paraphrased from the original English
I am a yogini filled with joy, humility and gratitude. Yoga has accompanied me since childhood.
I teach yoga in the way it has touched, fulfilled, inspired and shaped me from the beginning: with music, often in a dynamic, flowing way, and with enough time in each asana to consciously notice your experience in body, mind and soul.
I love being creative, connecting different styles and allowing them to flow into one another. Something new can emerge each time.
My roots and training
My roots lie in Kundalini Yoga. Through my family, I encountered its spiritual richness and the many sensory experiences of yoga practice as a child. These encounters touched me deeply and shaped my path.
I completed my first Kundalini Yoga training, Level 1 with 250 hours, in 1992 in the United States at Golden Bridge Yoga with Gurmukh in Los Angeles. Level 2 with 250 hours followed in 1995, along with a ten-day special programme at KRI in New Mexico in 1998.
Further training followed: Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra, each with more than 200 hours; Hormone Yoga with more than 120 hours; and SUP Yoga.
I continue to draw on this knowledge and my life experiences. Travel, longer stays in different countries and, above all, encounters with wonderful people have broadened my perspective and enriched my work.
In my classes, women’s circles and yoga events, I bring these experiences together with the energy of the people present. I feel happy and grateful to express creativity and spirituality through yoga and meet new, like-minded spirits.
Blisses & Blessings,
Kaja

Happy Hormone Yoga
A regular yoga practice may support greater body awareness, relaxation, vitality and joy in movement. Breathing exercises, movement and periods of rest invite you to nurture your inner balance.
Women describe experiences of greater wellbeing during their cycle and menopause, emotional balance, more awareness of the pelvic floor and a livelier sense of their bodies in connection with Hormone Yoga. These experiences are individual; they do not establish specific health effects for every woman.
What matters most is exploring your own experience and noticing which practice feels good for you. :)
